·   At the meeting of Association of Russian Managers that took place on 14 December 2007 the results of joint research of Corporate Finance Center (State University- Higher School of Economics) and Russian Institute of Directors were presented. The report “Influence of Corporate Governance on Corporate Performance” was presented by Vladimir Verbitsky, Deputy Director of Russian Institute of Directors and Yaroslav Ossipov, Corporate Finance Center (State University- Higher School of Economics)

       ·   A Round Table meeting “Urgent Issues of  Business Ethics, Social Responsibility and Partnership in system of Corporate Governance” was held on 27 November 2007 by Financial Academy under the Government of the Russian Federation, Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Russian Federation on Industry Development (Subcommittee of Corporate Governance and management), Committee of Business Ethics and Entrepreneurship in Culture and Department of Economic Security of Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Russian Federation. The issues discussed on the Round Table include the role of corporate governance and corporate responsibility in the organizational development, installation and application of corporate standards based on the social responsibility principles and ethical norms compliance, problems of business reputation establishment of the company on the modern market, government authority and corporations interaction on the subjects of social responsibility and partnership, content of social report issues.
