An International academic - practical workshop “Modern tendencies in Corporate Governance and Corporate Finance: Comparative Experience of Russia and USA” was held by the Network of Excellence on 14 June, 2007. Merritt Fox, Professor, Columbia University (Columbia Law School) presented a lecture. Sessions and Round table discussions covered the following subjects: “Corporate Governance Understanding and Performance Evaluation” and “Lessons of Russian Companies IPO: Success and Failures Reasons. Key Steps to Company’s Corporate Governance System Preparation to IPO”.
