The First Russian Economic Congress (REC-2009) was held on December 7-12, 2009 by the New Economic Association (NEA) and the Economics Sector at the RAS (Russian Academy of Science).   More than 2 000 economists from 71 Russian cities and 31 foreign cities took part in REC’s work.
